how do I change an icon used for some specific filetype? To be shown everywhere with this filetype in Nautilus. I have openSUSE 13.1 with Gnome.
I know how to open for example *.avi always in VLC (Properties, Open with, Set as default). I can also change icon for ONE specific avi file. But how do I change the icon for example for all AVI files? Let's say I want them to use VLC icon.
I was experimenting little bit with ~/.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list, where I can change probably Default apps to open *.avi files and also with /usr/share/applications/vlc.desktop but that is probably wrong way. Thank you for help.
