I'm trying to use an external mic (tested good) with my Fujitsu P770 laptop, which has ALC269. I use Opensuse 13.1 (64bit).
The problem is, that the input from the mic is extremely noisy, and only loud sounds, like hitting the mic to the table is audible, or if you speak really close to the mic, than your voice is faintly audible, but what you hear is mostly noise. This is the case also with the internal mic. I have tried it also with arecord (arecord -vv -fdat foo.wav) and the result is the same.
Here is my alsa-info output: alsa-info
Any help is really appreciated.
