[12.2] touchpad on Eee

Would be great if anyone could point me to an overview of the gestures that can be used with the touchpad on an Eee 1000h running under 12.2/KDE4.10.

I tried some multitouch taps, but they rarely work. is the hardware to slow?


I further have the problem that very often when simply trying to move the mouse down/up with a single finger drag, instead the screen scrolls in the opposite direction. what am I doing wrong in that case?
