I installed openSUSE 13.1 Xfce on a system previously used for Windows XP, which used a screen of 1024x768. The system has a VIA P4M800 Pro graphics card. Starting an Xfce session I only get the low resolution of 480x640. In the configuration screen this is the only option I have. I tried installing the package xf86-video-openchrome, but then I get on the screen a message that there is no signal. I also found this package version 3.3 in the Build service and installed it together with newer X11:xorg software, but had the same problem. Uninstalling only the packagexf86-video-openchrome brings me back to a display with low resolution. I am looking for suggestions.
