Hi folks,
I'm a novice when it comes to networking software.
I have had a persistent problem for a few weeks whereby 80% of the time my wifi speeds are abysmal. The slow speeds do not exist for ethernet connection.
With Ethernet:
With Wifi (immediately following the above estimate)
The tool iftop doesn't report any major competing traffic to explain the slow speeds.
Yesterday i booted the original openSUSE 13.1 live image to see if it was a software problem. Immediately the speeds went back to normal. When i booted into my TW hard drive install the speeds remained high. This morning i booted up and now they are back to being glacial.
Any guidance, tests, known problems etc, will be appreciated.
