I have viewed other threads that have this same issue however I can't get any to work. My motherboard has a nic that needs the r8168 driver. However the make command is not found. This is apparently due to not having the linux development environment and is crucial in running the script for the install. I am running OpenSUSE 13.1
The ways described to get the package set involves using the internet, which I can't do. So how do I go about getting the package from another machine to put on this one. I can't seem to find the proper place to download the package, and I'm also worried about dependency issues. Any help on this step and I think I can possibly continue the installation of the network driver.
TL;DR need to install "make" command however can't use internet to get it from Yast software enter.
