but without photo's or 360°

after changes per ge7.1.1.1580-0.x86_64-new-qt-libs-openSUSE-12-3.txz,
photo's available but no 360°

has anyone else noticed similar behaviour? is there a quick fix?

proprietary driver installed due to better graphics for tv viewing and lower
cpu temperatures

NB. no problems seen after similar sw update on PC's with radeon drivers
