Here is my question/problem.
After running the recommended updates for my system (13.1 dual boot Win 8) in Opensuse, suddenly I got an error message for my root password. So I tried reinstall, but grub is not
recognizing the dvd, just allows to enter to Opensuse or Win8. When I checked out Bios from the Win 8 side, to see if it changed the booting sequence I've set up for being able to boot from a cd/dvd, it had only two options to boot, Grub and Win 8, no longer had the possibility to choose any other form.
My question is, is there a way to reset the root password without installing 13.1 once again, and if not, how can I make Grub recognize the dvd, or reinstalling without the dvd?
Thanks in advance
