I have an eMachines T3656 pc with a 945g Intel driver connected via RGB to a 32-inch Vizio TV. I have installed openSUSE 13.1. I can only get the following resolutions:
1024x768
848x480
800x600
640x480
The only one that is usable is the 800x600 (the others settings result in windows being offscreen) but everything is too crowded at that resolution. I would like to add 1336x768 and 1280x720 (720p). I have tried everything I could think of including running sax3 and adding resolutions via xrandr (which resulted in me not being able to boot and I had to re-install). Please help.
Thanks,
- Jim
