XFCE Global hot keys

Hello everyone,


I am using OpenSUSE 12.3 with XFCE DE.

I have installed VLC Player and configured global hot keys but they are not working even when the window is active. I want the keys to function even when the windows is inactive or minimized.

You could suggest me the alternatives also.
