I was looking to do a new install on a computer and I was hoping to install the MATE desktop environment. My laptop uses the Intel 7265 wireless chipset. During setup I am prompted to configure my network connection and I am successfully able to scan for my network. I enter my passcode and it goes through the rest of the steps, but never prompts to enable to online repositories. Since MATE is not on the DVD I am not able to install it.
Once the system is live (I installed xfce) I am able to connect to the network no problem. I am not sure if this is an issue with actually getting a connection or if the problem is with the installer not loading the repositories despite having a connection. Is anyone else having a similar issue, or does anyone have any suggestions? The Leap 15.1 installer connects fine and prompts me to add the online repos.
