How does one set up a cloud based calendar using Konact?

I would like to be able to access my Kontact calendar when I'm away from the office, and make appointment changes using my phone. It looks like Kontact can use an FTP-based calendar file. However, file monitoring will not work with an FTP-based file, so the synchronization between devices and the office system will not work.

Some on-line have suggested using dropbox. That is, install the dropbox application and place the calendar folder in the dropbox folder. While dropbox will synchronize data, and Kontact can perform file monitoring, I think this approach will corrupt the data file.

Any ideas?
