Installed Opensuse 13.1 ,can get test sound but no sound in Firefox

Hi all,

As total newbie I have installed from downloaded iso,Opensuse 13.1 (onto Acer T180 ) but despite setting all sound sliders to80% I can get no sound apart from the test tune.Can anyone help with this?
