Hello,
I installed suse 13.1 today on my Dell Optiplex 708.
Having trouble connecting to the internet. Previously (with suse 12.3) all was fine.
I tried 3 modes of connection.
1) The normal mode (used until today), to a ROTAL router over wifi. This fails, and details quoted below.
2) Same router, but using a lan cable. No problem.
3) Wifi to my cellphone's wifi network. No problem.
Apparently the wireless communication between the controller and router is bad.
Details on bad connection. At first -- with kernel 3.11 -- I was not able to connect to router at all. After installing kernel 3.15 I can now connect to router. Yet actual transfer does not take place.
Here is the debugging data:
Please help asap!
Thanks,
Amnon
