OK guys, here's also a theme for movies! You've watched anything worthwhile, worth mentioning? Do it here and suggest a good time-passing activity to your fellow geekos.
Let me start: The most recent movie I ever watched was:
Moskva slezam ne verit (Moscow Does Not Believe In Tears). A great russian movie, Oscar winner, from 1979 from the director Vladimir Menshov.
It's about a few rural girls that come to Moscow, chasing their dreams of good marriage and prosperity in 1958. Music is great, acting perfect, and it's estheatically so pleasing i's probably one of the best and most beautiful movies i have seen ever, period. And, for Soviet times, it's quite provocative - it features a strong female character, some nudity, a female wearing a cross on a necklace etc.
I can't recommend it highly enough!
Now, I need a suggestion for today, so please continue :P
