Having trouble streaming videos on internet

I'm having trouble streaming video on the internet. Was using chromium and that was working out until I installed an update. I'm new to linux and installed the essential multimedia packages when I first installed Opensuse. This worked for a while until the update. Was wondering if anyone can help me with the chromium browser or streaming video in firefox.
