DVD CD combo replacement

I wish to replace my dvd cd slot in with a dvd cd BRD Rom compatible with my machine, a Dell Precision M4800,

after replacement have I to do an other installation for it or openSUSE will see the new HW without problem?

I'm running 13.1 KDE
