I was messing with my flash drive, and I decided to test some different file system speeds out. I tested by copying a 1GB file to the blank flash drive, deleting it from my hard drive and emptying the trash, and then copying it back to my hard drive, using the "time" command to measure the amount of time it took. My flash drive was plugged into a USB 3.0 port. I realize this doesn't take into account the performance when there are lots of small files being copied.
The results are in seconds, so the lower the better. Let me know if there are ways to improve the accuracy of this. There seem to be a few values that are out in left field. I used the "cp" command for copying, and my hard drive is an EXT4 partition.
