Hi,

I got a new/used desktop with a i7 3770 and a Asus MB.
The PC case is actually quite bad but I added a new 120mm fan so I hope it helps.

Anyway how can we know the TCase temperature.
My output for sensors is this:

Code:

acpitz-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
temp1:        +27.8°C  (crit = +106.0°C)
temp2:        +29.8°C  (crit = +106.0°C)

nouveau-pci-0100
Adapter: PCI adapter
fan1:        2340 RPM
temp1:        +36.0°C  (high = +95.0°C, hyst =  +3.0°C)
                      (crit = +105.0°C, hyst =  +5.0°C)
                      (emerg = +135.0°C, hyst =  +5.0°C)

coretemp-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
Physical id 0:  +48.0°C  (high = +85.0°C, crit = +105.0°C)
Core 0:        +39.0°C  (high = +85.0°C, crit = +105.0°C)
Core 1:        +45.0°C  (high = +85.0°C, crit = +105.0°C)
Core 2:        +41.0°C  (high = +85.0°C, crit = +105.0°C)
Core 3:        +48.0°C  (high = +85.0°C, crit = +105.0°C)

pkg-temp-0-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
temp1:        +47.0°C

- Virtual temps is the Motherboard sensors, they hardly ever change.
- Noveau is the nvidia graphics cards temp and fan speed.

I have a doubt about the Physical id 0 value ... I think it might be the Igp inside the CPU ..
Does anyone have any idea of what pkg-temp-0-virtual-0 is ?

Regards
