I installed today OpenSuse 13.1 to virtual host (VMware). After installation I set up IP-address, hostname etc. and proxy settings, "username@windows.domain" and password.
Yast worked fine, no problems. Repos and updates available/visible.
Firefox with system proxy settings did NOT work (=no internet), but after using Manual settings "domain\username" it starter to work.
I don't know why, but it had an internet connection...
Then I ran Yast Online Updates, installed only few at 1st time, re-started Online Updatera and installed tons of updates, and rebooted.
After that Yast still worked well. But Firefox or Konqueror didn't have any access to internet. With system or manual settings. I didn't change anything during updating or after that.
Has anyone else met this problem with browsers?
