Hello everybody,
I recently moved to Tumbleweed and so far everything is great ! I am the happy owner of a USB DAC, namely the Audioquest Dragonfly. It worked perfectly a few weeks ago, although I had to modify my PulseAudio default.pa to add a "ignore_dB=1" because the volume control simply didn't work. Then, I was separated from my headphones, so I stopped using the DAC. Today, I went for a new run : it worked even without tweaking the pulseaudio volume control ! However, I now have a very weird problem : the playback simply stops (I tried using Clementine and mplayer2). Both players are still responsive, correctly display the progress, everything is as if I had hit "pause". Then, I just have to switch output channels to get the playback back on tracks, for example switching between the digital or analog mode of the dragonfly or switching with the built-in speakers. This is weird, and annoying. It happens after random times. here is the pulseaudio log, but it doesn't seem to show anything irregular at the moment of the crash (261.44) : ( 0.458| 0.000) D: [pulseaudio] alsa-mixer.c: Removing path 'analog-output' - Pastebin.com. It doesn't seem to happen while using the built-in speakers (I don't really want to listen to my music on these ****** speakers), and I didn't have any problems under Windows 8.
Any help is welcome !
Config :
