I'm running openSUSE 13.1 Gnome on my laptop and in the beginning I wanted to keep it as vanilla as possible and get familiar with Gnome's work flow process. Now that I have been using it for a while, I started looking into what it was I wanted and find extensions that work.
I've only just begun, but I pulled out the extension Maximus Two, which hides the title bar of the window when it is maximized. I like this because otherwise when it is maximized you have the default panel along the top (not sure what it is called), then the title bar and then the rest of the window. That is a lot of unused space I have reclaimed with the extension.
So I was wondering what extensions other people use, which ones they like and why they wanted to use it.
Oh, I just found BackSlide, for wallpaper changing! I've gotta try that one (I really hate that Gnome and Unity are the only desktops that don't offer to rotate their backgrounds). Anybody else use this?
