Remote Desktop Access -- clipboard functionality

I have two systems, both running 13.1/KDE 4.14.1
I'll refer to them as Local and Remote.

Remote is normally headless. Remote is configured to start a vncserver (Xvnc) via the /etc/xinit.d setup.

I normally connect using KRDC on Local. I have also successfully used Remmina and vncviewer from the cli.

Establishing a connection and getting a desktop from Remote on Local works well using all three clients on Local.

What I can't seem to figure out is how to get clipboard functionality from the remote desktop to the clipboard on Local (Klipper)
running. There don't seem to be configuration options on any of the clients( on Local).
From what I have found via Google, -SendCutText is Default=on on the Remote end.

Has anyone succeeded here?
