Static libtirpc.a library

Hi everybody,

I have to build an executable with all statically linked libraries, including the so called libtirpc. Is there -- or does anybody know where to find -- a TI-RPC library for OpenSUSE 12.2 for static linking. For example, I was able to find such a library for Mandrake / Mandriva distribution.[1] However, for OpenSUSE it seems that there is no equivalent thing: I was looking for this everywhere to no avail. Any advice would be much appreciated ...
