Please pardon my basic ignorance; after running a full-fledged Internet server for 2 of my domains on Fedora 9 for the past 5 years, time has come to change out everything.
I've had no success due to becoming comfy with my setup currently (Webmin to administer the Fedora box), with centOS, Debian or Ubuntu, and I am reasonably determined to get this openSUSE 12.3 Server-only working.
This is my first foray into no GUI other than yasT. I believe I can handle it, but here's my issue: I must test this new rig on my network, but need to have port 80 (I only have 1 ISP line)for the soon to be retired machine.
Since my whole network is static (internal & External) everything, with DHCP on the Router only for my ROKU and the iPhone, can anyone tell me what port I can open on my Router for Internet access for this machine? I have 443 open but obviously it's not going to work for what I want.
Once done this rig will have 2 virtual hosts and both will have PHP carts as in 1 of my current domains.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated, tarzy
