I hope I am on the right forum with my problem.
As an absolute novice I extracted as root an image, " openSUSE-12.3-ARM-XFCE-cubieboard.armv7l-1.12.1-Build69.2.raw.xz " ,for my Cubie Board.
I built a serial cable to USB according instructions.
Then I followed instructions from " HCL:CubieBoard - openSUSE "
After powering my CB, the screen on the TV shows only black and in the top left corner an image of of the TUX pinguin.
The installation instructions read: " Walk through the first boot steps on the serial console "
On the laptop I have installed 12.3 64 bit but when the CB is connected thru serial to USB laptop, nothing happens.
The installation instructions seem to be so simple. But is there maybe a way to point Konsole to my USB and then see the serial output and continue the bootsteps?
