I prepared a 256gig drive, I downloaded the version version indicated, and verified the download using md5sum. The checksums matched.

I have three disks on that computer, with /sda emptied. The loader allows me to specify the disk, and to use the entire disk.

After I tell the installer which disk to use (use entire disk), and my first user has been entered the problem appears.

The install begins and in a few seconds an orange pop-up box appears about some value missing. This message dos not persist.

This box appearance appears during the test for verifying the selected installation files. After that, there is lockup --

I tried to bypass using GUI install by using text, and the identical problem was presented.

The motherboard is an Intel model, about 5 years old. The processor is a dual core version. This computer works with Fedora and Debian (one on each of the two remaining disks).

I cannot get a log file, since the only available action is to reboot.

I do not have a VM software to run the installation under VM.

I chose all the defaults, but the keyboard. The keyboard I use is Canadian French.
