Can only boot in recovery mode

Hello all,

I'm fairly new to linux, and very new to opensuse, but I cannot figure out why I cannot boot in the normal mode. What is different about recovery mode? When I try to boot in the normal mode the screen goes black and nothing happens. Any ideas?
