Hi
I tried to connect to my school wifi with opensuse 12.3 x86 64 kde
It's an unsecure network, no pass
The network is detected but the connection fails with kde network manager

If you have any ideas to make it work, please write here.
I can connect to wifi at home with the same laptop.
Other people can connect to the school wifi in the same room
I can provide command outputs etc
Thanks

Here is my WLAN card:
linux-zu0x:/home/avi # lspci | grep Network
01:00.0 Network controller: Ralink corp. RT3290 Wireless 802.11n 1T/1R PCIe

Here is the error message in the system log of yast (/var/log/messages)

I tried some things, no success yet:
- delete connection and add new
- reboot computer
- log in as a new fresh user
- disable wired connection and disable then enable wireless

also someone in facebook made a suggestion that I could not check:
Quote:

Does the school use something like a bluesocket verification tool if so Linux cannot log on because it doesn't have an anti-virus that the checker will recognize I had to disable that at my work so students could use wifi with Linux machines
Any ideas are welcome, even variations of the above can help me. Thanks.
